Where to begin… of all the cities we visited Prague was our favorite. The city has so much beauty and vibrancy. Prague is in a transition and it is this transition that we found so intriguing. There is a large number of younger people that live here and the city is getting a face lift of sorts with a lot of buildings that had been neglected over the past 50 years. It kind of reminded us of our own East Nashville, except obviously on a much larger scale.
The vast majority of the people speak English and are happy to do so. In fact most of the signs are in English as well. This shows the cities commitment to tourism and growth. As of now, it is still a great bargain to eat and drink since the country has not adopted the Euro yet. While we were there 17 Czech Krona was about 1 u.s. dollar. Michelle and I can’t wait to visit again, and see all the stuff we missed in our 3 days in Prague.
