We are always told to show what you want to shoot, so here it is… this is the type of photography we want to shoot! We shoot a lot of really nice stuff, but I want to shoot more to my roots, cinematic inspiration, darker, edgier, the stuff I’ve always been drawn too. So we decided a couple of months ago we wanted to start doing more personal projects that give us the freedom to experiment and indulge our creative sensibilities. Enter our first attempt, a Black Swan Inspired Bridal Shoot!
So after seeing the Oscar winning film starring Natalie Portman who won for Best Actress, and directly flawlessly by Darren Aronofsky,we literally walked out of the theater saying we need to shoot something like this! So we called up Jennifer Hamilton of Mr. and Mrs. Events, and asked her to help style the shoot. Long story short, We got everything to come together at the last minute despite some bumps in scheduling. Enjoy the images!
